Planning a Kitchen installation or renovation
Designing a beautiful kitchen that’s warm and inviting for your family and guests is also a top priority. Prior to designing, it is important to determine the functionality of your dream kitchen. Functionality is crucial within any kitchen design, it can be the difference between a good kitchen and a great kitchen. We suggest gathering inspiration from magazines, catalogs, and the internet into a design notebook. File pictures into albums titled for their specific attributes, or note the items of interest directly on a clipping.
Step One
Measure the perimeter of the room and keep detailed drawings of all space allowances to install cabinets.
Step Two
Measure the window and door height and width then space from the ceiling and/or floor to the edges noting the distance and size of each.
Step Three
Take measurements and notes of any electrical covers and space between set pipes or fixtures.
